Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC)

Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) is any form of communication other than oral speech in which a person expresses themselves. Support tools and systems can include paper and pencil, speech-generating devices (SGDs), electronic devices such as tablets, and more.
