Helping Children in Foster Care Grow and Thrive Since 1980

Massachusetts MENTOR has provided foster care services since 1980. That’s when we began serving youth within the court system in Massachusetts, who would otherwise have gone into correctional settings. Now we work across the state, using our unique trauma-informed therapeutic foster care model to help children and young people with a wide range of needs. With expertise going back four decades and our team of caring people, we are making a difference in the lives of the children we serve every day.

Meet One of Our Foster Parents

For more than 20 years, Leslie Ann Milton, or “Miss Ann” as she is known to the young people she cares for, has welcomed many teens into her home. They come seeking family and caring support during a hard time in their lives.

“These kids need love and need someone to listen to them,” said Miss Ann. “I never turn a kid down.”
