Institute for Family Centered Services, Inc.'s La Plata program serves children and families with special needs, including those facing out-of-home placements, trauma, behavioral challenges, or involvement with the juvenile justice system.

We offer behavioral health services including our intensive in-home family preservation services, which are designed to prevent children from being placed in foster care and to help those in foster care transition back home to their families. Our family preservation services are based on Family Centered Treatment^®, an evidence based model of care that helps families work through the challenges they are facing together.
