Ohio MENTOR has provided foster care services since 1983, and today we serve children in communities across the state. Our teams are made up of caring people including Licensed Social Workers, Clinical Counselors, and more.


Statistics About Foster Care

  • There are more than 400,000 children in foster care across the country 
  • • As of 2020, there were 214,421 licensed foster homes in the US.
  • Foster children come from all age groups, from infants to up to 20 years old.
  • Children stay in foster care for about 21 months, on average
